The Differences Between Suicidal and Infectious Necrophages
The suicidal requires reactive oxygen species production between one and three hours of vital needs, doesn't need it. So they do a time course experiment and they find that the IgA influenza virus stimulated neptosis is consistent with suicidal neptosis. And then so the neutrophils are throwing out these traps and they throw virus in and see if there's any infectivity left. But I gotta tell you, it's not much. It's the last figure in the paper, percent infectivity, it goes from 100% to 50% in three hours and 25% in six hours. Half of infectivity in the world of viruses is nothing.
