Creating a Culture of Referral
Joint commission enacted a new standard that mandated that agencies certified by joint commission had to have an outcome measure in place the it's a great move. The problem with this is is cultures don't change overnight. Most agencies take between three and seven years to achieve that cultural shift. We've found that implementation is the key challenge, and most people who begin adopting fit.
