The Dark Triad and the Light Triad

There's been so much research attention on the dark side of personality, what are called socially-aversive characters. We came up with a whole bunch of items to try to measure it and to our surprise, three factors clearly emerged from our analyses. So Machiavellianism in the dark triad world, you know, is like, I use people as a means to an end. Another one is faith in humanity. And then third one is humanism and treating each individual regardless of their skin color, identity, et cetera, with dignity and respect.
