The Importance of Diagnosis in Vascular EDS
The biggest prognosis, prognosting the factor for a successful vascular intervention, no matter what it was, was just knowing the diagnosis up front. Patients had a much worse outcome when a vascular intervention was done and the diagnosis was not already known. Most patients have more than one territory involved in presentation. After 40, the chance of initial event being a vascular EDS is shrinking considerably.
