What Is Perfectionism?

Perfectionism is the tendency to demand of others or of oneself in an extremely high, or even flawless level of performance. Perfectionism also contributes to the productive side of it helps people by encouraging planning and initiation. But there's also what's called a mal adaptive and what i've named toxic a side of perfectionism. And this is limiting and harmful because it involves self criticism and negative self talk - kind of not completely right.
