If someone feels like they're being treated unfairly, it's going to spike their burn out through the roof. Human beings have an internal bias where they tend to overestimate their extra contributions and underestimate other people's contributions. So even in the situation of fairness, ideally your work place is not going to be a hundred % but you have an inindividual contribution to that as well.
