How to Win a Race

We were in the lead from the beginning our biggest opposition on the day was going to be Australia as you would hope and great opposition. What was impressive was we led the whole way down the course we led from start to finish. There was no point where it felt comfortable it felt fine we were extending our lead. We're sitting there next to us but presumably for a long time there wasn't clear water between you and them so at what point did you get far enough ahead where you can see them behind you probably by about halfway they began to pull out with a bit of space of water.
