The Role of Grief in Human Life
There seems to be a yet it's reasonable for our grief to diminish because we are the embodied creatures that we are, even if the reason for the for the emotion has not diminished or changed in any way at all. So there is going to be this kind of dissonance between the view of the emotions themselves and a view about the role they play. Now this, that can be a naturalistic element. I do think, for example, in the case of grief, that there's a way in which we're really wired for loss.
