Bruno: I think early on in my bodybuilding career and coaching career, it was like an overemphasis on a caloric surplus. And so that's how it's been for me, all else equal, you know, there's eating at maintenance versus being in a slight surplus. Most people are going to gain more muscle in the surplus. Russ: No one has really given gaining a fair try because they don't get as precise as they do with their fat loss phases.
