Most of the time when I see companies decide that they want to build out some principles or they end up basically saying stuff that is just generally true. Our other two are think big, start small and ship to learn rather than kind of walk true about those as well. And what they don't really do in my opinion is like, come up with a principle that's pointy enough switchThat there is an equal and opposite counter principle in a sense. What would that look like? For think small, start big. You'd never disagree with that.
In this episode Des Traynor and Paul Adams discuss the principles upon which we've built our product, and indeed our business, here at Intercom. They talk about the value of having a clearly defined set of principles and how they can become the foundation for cohesive decision making.
