How to Connect With Your Real Neighborhood
Nextdoor.com is a website where you find- you put in your location information and it basically is a bulletin board for your neighborhood. Buy Nothing, I believe it's only through Facebook unfortunately. But I love it. It's again very small geographic areas. So I don't think anything in my local Buy Nothing group is more than a five-minute drive from my house. You can post if you're giving stuff away to help support your local community. This serves a similar function to how donated to Goodwill or something might for if you have things you don't need or want anymore,. And people will let you know if they want to take those off your hands.
