Is the Fed Going to Rake Rates?
People who acted one way when rates were un changed, are acting very differently now that there's been a quarter point increase. The issue of interest rates shouldn't be viewed as binary, black or white, flat rates or rising. When the series of increases is over, will rates be high enough to meaningfully alter behavior? That's what counts. No investment vehicle should promise more liquidity than is afforded by its underlying assets. Ill liquid assets and the possibility of capital flight could create an investment disaster.
