Athletes Eat a Lot of Carbohydrates

We like to hone in on one to two grams per kilogram of carbs. Zach Miller just won the TerraWara 100-mile. If you can get 400 calories from carbohydrates, you're really going to be nice and topped off. But if you have GI issues, you might want to go a little bit lower. For male athletes, I think this is an important consideration. And perhaps for some female athletes as well.
