Do I Sell and Rebalance?

When talking to our advisor, it seems like distributions would just be pulled proportionately from each asset class. I think that is a horrible way to do it unless you are extremely overfunded and you have such a cushion that you can handle a systematic withdrawal strategy. Most of us are not going to be overfunded; most of us are going to be constrained. We may have enough financially we may have enough, but we're not sure because of all of the future unknowns.
