Teachers were trying to figure out how to motivate their students to do more math problems. Researchers suggested a temptation bundle, where kids could listen to music and have snacks on the day when they're doing work. It turned out that kids persisted longer on math when they were randomly assigned to groups that had these temptations linked with them. If you can find a way to make it more enjoyable, that really matters.
