Developing Good Comprehension Skills
Fluency is incredibly important to students developing good comprehension. If you're a slow reader, and you're having to devote five times more cognitive resources to working out the word so that you can read it an a word a seconda That's a huge chunk of resource that's no longer available to meaning and comprehension. So getting students up to fluency is really important,. and then getting them to apply that to reading, connect prose, so that they actually then put all those practice skills to work.
