Professor Walker says thrill is the most basic and fundamental of all human emotions. It rewards the very persistence of life on earth. To feel thrilled is to feel alive. Festivals of thrill exist in surprise birthday parties, in extreme knitting, in parties. You don't have to be an adrenaline junkie to appreciate thrill. As new technology emerges I enjoy using those new technologies to understand and monitor thrill.
