Each year on wandering souls day, the viemes leave out offerings of food for their dead family members. They release birds from cages, fishes from bowls and burn ceremonial offerings. For us here in the us, there's no real national, cultural way to deal with these things. We don't speak of the ghosts that haunt us, but they're definitely thereer security door opening. And the souls of those ghosts are lingering right here in our nation's capital.
