How to Visualize in a Hard Training Interval

How would you use visualization in a hard running interval session for example. How do I want to be if I'm coming up against the barrier of the pain how am I going to get through it? You know both the visualization of how you should look with the verbalization of how you want to talk to yourself come together and again provide you with something very strong very tangible. The more you do it in training the more easy and accessible it is in the race situation what you doing training sure as a triathlon coach you say to your athletes what you do in training consistently consistently well will play out more likely in the race scenario.
