"It was never I didn't want to be a pilot. It was after the first Gulf War, there was a Newsweek article I saw," he says. "I think I did 11 pull-ups for my test, which... I wouldn't even have gotten close to making it today." He also worked with retired reserve seal Captain Bisset who helped him get through pipeline.
Rich draws upon 20+ years of experience as a Navy SEAL Officer where he completed more than 13 overseas deployments – 11 of which were to Iraq and Afghanistan. Through his career, he has achieved multiple leadership positions – to include the Commanding Officer of a Navy SEAL Command.
