Self Soothe

I have anxious attachment depression and anxiety from massive childhood emotional neglect. Sometimes when the hurt is too deep, i rely on those recordings of my therapist to give me comfort. Is it wrong to use these recordings to find comfort, or is it an acceptable way to self soothe? I think they're a couple of things though. We can't rely on one person to give us everything. We'll always be let down. So we need to start building, one brick at a time, these other pillars of our support. And then the next step out outside of that might be to help you find some ways to regulate on your own,. without friends, without your therapist.
