Mauro Raffaele was hired by PepsiCo to start infusing design into the company. He says he went through five phases in his effort to change culture at 3M. The first phase is when a company doesn't understand that it needs a different approach,Raffaele says. In this phase, you need somebody at the top to drive the change and sponsor the change, he says.
