How Do You Predict Engineering Skill?

The first problem ends up actually being a better general predictor of engineering skill. The second, you gain the second problem right, carries more information than getting the first problem right but with a really high, false, negative. And so is there a way, if I'm like getting ready to do some interviews, what would I do? So, I mean, I guess there's two questions there. One is for companies that are doing a good job interviewing, and then maybe for what I think some of the status quo is.
