How to Push Your Focus Out to a Stimulus
Imagine that when you do everything right, you see a square on the screen. And then your instruction to the participants to the your athlete is squat. So as to produce a square. But the square is mapped onto a bunch of parameters in your movement that you want the athlete to avoid. You're not telling them when they're training: Oh, pay attention to your knee. Doling your trunk, distribute your weight appropriately in the two legs. Make sure your hip is going backwards instead of your knee forward.
