The Science of Endurance Exercise Performance

In his doctoral program, Paul Costal was fascinated with all the work that costal had done to work out and colleagues. His original thinking was that there was in fact a metabolic explanation for the performance duration relationship. After a number of years we realized that wasn't how it worked. We don't have an equivalent understanding for high intensity anything above via two max intensities. There's nothing there you can't predict it you can't explain it.
