The Importance of Thought Stopping
As people become more authentic, have them notice how it impacts their mental and physical health. Thought stopping helps us redirect our brain; we can engage in thought stopping by simply telling ourselves, no, not now, not thinking about it. Perspective taking means looking at the bigger picture to understand the reactions of other people as sometimes as well as yourself. There are four P's in perspective taking: predisposing, Precipitating factors, Provocations and Step back.
