Kedamine and Its Effects on Post-Op Analgesia

The onset of action is very quick with cadamine, 30 to 60 seconds. It will pique in about one minute and last about eight to ten minutes. Inturns of its anesthetic properties, though patients will not get fully oriented again for 15 to 30 minutes after a dose. Kedamine has some significant advantages in terms of post op analgesia. So sub anathetic, sub anaesthetic doses can produce analgesia. You can use a sub anaesthetic dose and have a significant effect in terms of its reduction in opioid requirements.
