Jujitsu - Is Crunch or Twist the Same?

There's really only two fundamental positions that your body needs to be in if you're playing the pre-Mekelson defensive jujitsu system. You're either crunched or you're twisted. The neutral stances have their advantages and disadvantages. So I like the neutrality because it's very, very dead so to speak and it's very passive. But as a defensive structure, if you want to attack and stuff, then if you do any wrestling attack, you have to be a little bit like a sideways two opponent on an elbow post.
