Dopamine's Role in the Body
"I always feel really good after it. I feel like, okay, now I can do a bit more work," says David Walliams. In the short term, cold exposure increases metabolism as the body has to burn calories to increase body temperature. The total calories burned from the cold exposure are not that significant but conversion of white fat is beneficial for allowing people to feel more comfortable in the cold.
