Coaching Feedback - Is There a Deep Structure?
The main lesson I took away from our second coaching session was if you're getting students to do something that involves a few steps it's like unlikely they're going to be able to kind of hold it in working memory. A valuable technique is to model one model the first part of the step that they can manage get them to do it monitor success and then model the next part and so on. Yeah for sure I think the really fascinating thing about this is well you know for the listener it's been about six weeks since we actually did that piece of coaching feedback. And I'll be honest and say that like I might have done a bit of forgetting in that time but like it's flooding back
