The Effects of Benzodiazepine on Traumatic Injury

The sedative effects from benzodiazepines could lead to risk of falls or motor vehicle accidents. And that's, you know, added by the effect of other drugs enhancing those effects and increasing the risk of falls. The self-control case series provides really good control of confounding from those types of factors. So things like chronic illnesses that don't change over time or demographic factors, genetic factors, things that are constant over time were controlled for in this study.
