Getting Early Team Members Into the Fundraising Process

Don't overshare, at least not in the beginning. Tell a story that's collective, as opposed to about you and them. Don't walk into meetings with bullet-proof answers or plans. Share just enough of what you're trying to solve - then let creative possibilities get folded in. It takes more preparation to have a discussion than it does to have a presentation.
