Mike Silver: Boxing is the only one where you could really make the counterintuitive argument that in this one case, maybe it's the exception that proves the rule. He says boxing was one of the first areas where African Americans were able to dominate. "I mean, which country Italian boxers are world famous Irish boxers? I mean, has there ever been a sport like that?" he asks.
