The Importance of Hearing That You're OK

Some people just need to hear that they're okay. Like what they're going through is not devastating or, you know, it's not a severe injury and even though it might feel really bad right now, they are okay. To me the biggest issue we have, at least in physio, as far as we have misattributed what is true skill and expertise in our profession. And I think it's greatly overestimated how important that is to somebody recovering from pain, painful issue.
