The Disincentive to Invest in a Company When Shares Are Not Going Anywhere

Value investors are noticing the disincentive to invest in a company when its shares are forgotten by the index, right? The return on your buyback is so much higher than the return on invested capital that could be generated. It's just kind of interesting, these orphaned assets and how long they can remain or orphaned. You know, I think the comment that he said is, if you do good work, the world should work in the way that you earn a reasonable rate of return. That has not been the case for the last five years.
