There was no difference in the outcomes of patients targeted to either mild hypercapnea or normal capnea in the first 24 hours after cardiac arrest. All subgroups behaved in a way that was in accordance with and consistent with the primary and secondary outcomes. There was no heterogeneity of effect by subgroup. And we experienced a little over 5% of arterial carbon dioxide target abandonment in our child based on the clinical judgment of the team at the site.
