The key thing we've first got to think about when we look at application is alignment. Try and make sure your shin in a sense is moving perfectly forward and back in the same plane, the machine's moving. And then from there, try and bring that same alignment over into lower body pushing based movements like leg press or split squat type things. One of the considerations is, do we want to challenge through the short position? Do we want to start thinking more of a challenge with the mid position? Or do you want to challenge more in the length and position?
