Dale's cone is another one that it comes from a good place, like learning styles dot. You know, the people who devise these theries are trying to help,. But it's been over simplified, over interpreted and ultimately, the way in which it currently is presented isn't useful at all. And i'm not sure whether i should, i should say this, i will. I gave a keynote once at an education conference about evidence based approaches to learning and teaching. It wasn't until after i was done, some 50 minutes later, that i was told that thee other keynote had used dale's cone as an example of something that we should be doing. Again, very well
