Isosorbide Dinitrate and Hydralazine in Heart Failure?

The combination of hydralazine and nitrates led to lower mortality at three years in patients with a left ventricular ejection fraction, less than 45%. The side effect profile is very, very small. It does not drop blood pressure at all, which is the best thing about that medication. And as well, it does not impact kidneys or potassium levels. Very safe to use in conjunction with our other therapies and effective as well.
