How Long Does It Take to Feel a Benefit?
Meditation can give us an immediate sense of calm or freedom. But one thing i have learnt over years is that immediate benefit doesn't happen all the time and may be elusive. Even when it does, new ways of being in the world need to be part of our meditation practice before they can show up in daily life. When you suddenly find yourself feeling differently about some one whom you usually find di ut you didn't decide to do or feel anything different. It just happened. And your practice has had an impact without your knowing it.
