What Is René Girard?

René Girard is a significant thinker in the continental philosophical tradition that arose after World War II. He stands alongside other thinkers such as Gadamer and Wittgenstein, Levenas and Rachur and Derrida. His work really started to change and break through with a volume in the 60s called Desire to Seat in the Novel.
