The Importance of Balance in Eating
In the 70s, people ate breakfast at around eight o'clock in the morning. They had dinner at around six o'clock. So it's about 10 hours of eating 14 hours of fasting. The idea is that you want to be relatively balanced. If you have enough body fat, then you have the ability to tap into those stores. Fasting is just like a scalpel: It can cut you or cure you if you use it right.
