i like worknrounds and bending the rules, honestly. i don't think i can recommend the book for what it's relaying to us. And agree with you, jolenta, a lot of platitudes, but nothing like ground breaking. As someone who knows like a bit about japanese culture, i feel like they left out some things that would be pertinent. There wasn't enough discussion of shintoism for like, how much like nature is important. They barely even discusse that eki means to go,.
