The sound and animation were based on analogue t v static, which is something we almost never see nowadays. No matter what they tried, no one could figure out how to recreate the magic of the original sound. So it was an opportunity for us to revisit, do we need a new logo? Bruce and his team started testing out all kinds of new versions. We did the same thing we did last time, but this time something very funny happened. You know, nobody came in with light, hay, let's put a chicken on the h b o. There was nothing ever that was bad.
