The Biggest Obstacle for Ultra Runners
When people get into ultra running there's this big premium on volume because the distance that you're trying to do is high volume and it just makes sense in your mind if I'm going to run 100 miles I better be running a lot. The human body is super resilient and really does grow with you if you give it the right amount of time so for the average person thinking about ultra marathon don't look at it as like oh well this isn't the grand prize embrace it enjoy it.
