Animating Uniforms in Android Graphics

You can pass primitives like floats and ints. And all we're doing is uploading the deltas to the gpu, so we're not having to recompile programmes. The integration point is really nice with the existing andred code. That is the little micro programm that controls those pictles. All their doing is mating a numerical value that is then supplied through the shader that's already compiled and running through skia.
