The Importance of Being Patient
I had a stress fracture on my femoral head. I also had a miniscule tear because there was them so much swelling in the knee that was then pulling and really disturbing my IT band. So everything that could have been going on was just going on and making it worse. Some days I didn't feel like I was progressing at all or some weeks. And then I'd all of a sudden make a huge breakthrough and be able to do something that I couldn't have done the week before. It took time, but you're not very good at being patient - sometimes you've just got to put your hands up and say, yeah, something's not quite right.
