Ego can exploit absolutism and relativism towards its own devilish purposes. Survival is what 99% of your life is preoccupied with, and pretty much all that you care about. To most ordinary people, relative truth may as well be absolute truth from their point of view because they know nothing else. Ego loves to play loose with the truth. i will weaponize both relativity and the absolute in order to fulfil its and manipulate reality in whatever way it can. Be careful dismissing the relative too quickly. As long as you want to stay alive for longer than a day, you have to be concerned about the relative domain - no matter how enlightened you are.
