Is There a Difference Between Intent and Interest?

Danny Nail, who heads up the ABM Center of Excellence at Salesforce, had a very strong point around intent. He said unless intent is coming from at least three sources, all it is is interest. To me that's really more of like a sign of pain, right? They have a problem that they're trying to solve. And again, then if I know that, I can be helpful. If you do that too early, you're just going to push people away.
