When we're aroused, our body's autonomic nervous system becomes activated. The face is made up of 43 different muscle groups and any combination of these can express different emotional states. I noticed in all the interviews that I conducted with my interviewees, they were thrilled when they experienced a massive increase in valence and arousal. So now I started to play with this idea of a formula for measuring thrill.
